Haldi Powder (Turmeric)

Haldi, also known as Turmeric in English, is an important ingredient found in almost all traditional Indian food. Haldi is known for its ability to add a lovely yellow tinge to anything it touches. It also gives off an earthy fragrance and adds a warm peppery flavour to the food. An essential in cooking Indian food whether as a curry powder, curry paste or marinate.
